Wow, I can’t believe it’s the last day of these 12 days. I have really loved the challenge of doing a drawing everyday, I feel like I have definitely stretched my mind and creativity and hopefully skill. Thank you all so so so much for your many suggestions, I had a ton of fun reading them all and had a hard time choosing between them! A couple of you messaged in a suggestion nearly every day, I’ll be in contact with you… ;)

On the first day of the New Year…

Okok anyways, today is the first day of the 12 Days of the New Year, let’s get started!
12 Days of the New Year
Starting January 1st, I will be doing a drawing a day until I have to go back to class on the 12th. That means I need a lot of suggestions!
Each day will have a fun way to pick a lyric to draw, so reblog/like away because one reblogger/liker will have a lyric drawn up of their choice!
Also, start sending me your suggestions! Just put what day you’re suggesting for and I will make sure to save it for that date.
Day 1: Put a 🎶 (musical note) in my ask box, I’ll put my iTunes on shuffle and give you my favorite lyric from whatever song comes up. Whichever I like best I’ll draw
Day 2: Category… numbers! Give me a band or song or lyric with a number in it
Day 3: Tattoo day! Want a tattoo design? Send me your ideas
Day 4: All Time Low is my favorite band. Send my your favorite ATL songs and lyrics
Day 5: Boy band day. Because, don’t deny it, boy bands are rad and you love them. Send me your favorite 1D, 5SOS, etc. songs and lyrics
Day 6: Category… colors! Give me a band or song or lyric with a color in it
Day 7: Warped Tour. Suggest a lyric or song by a band that has been announced for Warped 2015
Day 8: Your favorite lyric(s). Send my your favorite lyric(s) of all time!
Day 9: Newcomers day. Love a band that’s just starting out or just beginning to make a name for themselves? Send their lyrics!
Day 10: Hands. I love drawing hands. Probably not going to be lyric related, but if you have cool hands suggestions you can send them I guess……
Day 11: Category… nature! Send me lyrics that will go nicely with flowers and stuff like that

My drawing tonight was on the last page of my current sketchbook, can’t believe I’ve filled it all!
That being said, that will be my last drawing for the year of 2014. I have something special in mind for the new year, so I want to take next week off and try and get my head in it, I’ve been feeling so off my game lately. Not loving my last several drawings, but here’s to a fresh start! I’ll have more deets on that later.
That being said, thank you, each and every one of you, for the support over this last year! I wouldn’t be doing this if it weren’t for you. I hope you have a merry Christmas and happy new year!

Final day of summer…
Today is the last day of summer! I’ve accomplished my goal of posting a new drawing every week.. plus some!
I also had the goal of getting to 2,000 followers by the end of summer. And the final count is not 2,000…. IT’S 2,106!!!! Thank you SO MUCH. I doubted I could reach my goal and here I am surpassing it!
